Hi All ! Since having acquired my E 27 a few months ago I have been mostly singled handed when at sean. I am looking for suggestions on how to secure the tiller when under sail so that I may attend to other matters. As always thank you for your support. Joe

well---it took a while to figure this one out As it turns out both the switch and pump were fine. The problem lay with a confused and coroded wiring system as well as a lack of integrity with the wire colors (i.e. red became black) and several loose connections. Thanks again for all the advice...

I just discovered the bilge pump is not operating and not sure why so far. The light is out on the three way lighted panel switch that controls the bilge pump (The controller?). The fuse is fine and as far as I can tell power is getting to the panel. Could the panel switch be my problem? Or...

could have been a outboard between the inboards the current owner has had her just about a year. when I posed the boot strap query he thought that perhaps she was between inboards and equiped with a outboard at the last bottom job. the holes in the stern suggest an outboard was in her past.
