Born and raised on Lake Manawa in C.B. Iowa. Farmer on Ponsford Prairie near Park Rapids Minnesota. Landlord and Licensed Contractor in Iowa for 35 years Started sailing 1996 16' Hobie. Member of Lake Manawa Sailing Association. Lived aboard for 5.5 years. Refit 25' ODay 2006, sailed from Blair Nebraska to Mobile Alabama via Tentom. Raced Mobile Yacht Club, I was tactician aboard s/v Nereus captained/owned by Guy Miller upon Mobile Bay. Acquired Morgan 416 Ketch and sailed from Mobile to Tampa to keys, crossed gulf 3 times once singlehandedly. Presently own shallow draft 27' 1978 Ericson that I plan on trailer sailing and exploring midwest, great lakes and south will return to some of my favorite places.
