I now have the former FYC (Ford Yacht Club on Grosse Ile) "Quixotic" E381 at Port Huron Yacht Club. There are 3 Ericson 35-2s directly across from me in the harbor. All beautiful boats. Now that I have Quixotic, "Moonshadow" is now for sale! :egrin:
Have you by chance got a size for that o-ring or just approximated? I got the "official" deck plate o-rings from Perko and they're to big for any of my fill plates. I wonder if they either changed the design or if Ericson didn't use Perko...
I've thought about these as well, having seen them (or something similar) on either pulpit corner of a friend's Hunter 336.
Zarcor (who made the swiveling drink holders I have on either side of my steering pedestal hoop, and make a very quality product) offers them, albeit not for free...

I made a set of them for our E35-3 out of some Sunbrella that came with the boat. I plan on doing a Blog post on them. I...
All - I did upload it a while back in the resources area. My link is here - let me know if this works:

Great! Plans and parts-list for your puller would also be appreciated. There's a huge community of inboard boaters who would benefit from that!
Thanks for the update, and looking forward to seeing the video!
I had success in replacing the cutlass bearing on my 35-3, but not without removing the prop shaft (which require removing the rudder). In my case, I welcomed the removal of the rudder to replace the lower grease zerk and in general check the condition of the shaft and be able to sand and fair...
