Yes similar . I always thought it was asking alot out of the pin with the reef hooks and main tack but seems to be common to selden masts . I'm going to check my garage one more time . Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a whole new gooseneck. Serves me right I guess , can't believe I misplaced it
The first picture is sailing last summer and you can see the pin with the double reefing hooks and main tack attachment. Second picture is the boom with the pin missing . Anyone know of am online supplier that might have that?
Nope , ill post a picture tommorrow of my set up . I can't believe I lost it. I think I put it in the boat somewhere because the retaining pin on the bottom was damaged and knew it needed to be replaced. I'm looking again tommorrow for it
So i seemed to have misplaced the pin that holds the boom to the mast over the winter . It looks to be roughly 1/2 inch by 5 1/2 inch long . I dont even remember if it had reefing hooks on it or not . Anyone know where i might find one? Seldens website is tough to navigate . Does anyone have...
No the end at the deck is fine . My problem is where they thread into the joint at the hull. There is a barrel of aluminum that they thread into , frozen there
So I resealed every fitting on my deck and I have a question about my chain plates. On my 30+ there is only one "traditional" chain plate that attaches to the bathroom bulkhead. The other 3 rings on deck for the shrouds bolt through the deck to long stainless rods that attach to turnbuckles...
also on my 30+ there is a teak board that prevents access to the area and required removal of the anchor pan . the teak board is screwed on from behind the pan . Im thinking ill just remove the teak board with the pan out so ill have access to the front with out removing the pan in the future
