    Dogs on board

Our brave and wonderful Sea Dog, Ringo, passed away yesterday. We're devastated and will miss him dearly. It's too quiet now when we step onto the boat and don't hear his bark. R.I.P. to my best friend.

    Cockpit Table [Master Thread]

We have one a lot like that on Stardust. Nice to be able to have breakfast in the cockpit if we feel like it.

The Siamese, Taun We, finally started exploring above deck recently.

When you have family that might worry ...

Yes, 30 seconds after the button press something could happen. But that's the same in anything at all in life. If I were ashore and called my grandmother on the phone, something could happen when I hang up from her. I was fine when I had just spoken to her and then something happened after the...

When you have family that might worry ...

It seems like it. I looked under settings and it had places I could click to link to Facebook and Twitter. I figured that would get the word we were okay to more people than just the 10 e-mail/cell phone contacts we could choose.

When you have family that might worry ...

Picked up a SPOT yesterday and got it activated this morning. Works well and even links to Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you. She's a Bengal. We also have a Siamese who is starting to get more adventurous on the boat.

    Cats on board

Our cats are getting used to the liveaboard lifestyle. They seem to have adapted fairly well. We got them each a harness with a leash for now. They also both have PFDs of their own. Leia, our Bengal, was just up in the cockpit yesterday.

When you have family that might worry ...

I think I read that it's supposed to be a five year battery, so that's pretty darn good indeed.

When you have family that might worry ...

That seems like something that might be worth getting. My grandmother is very worried about us living aboard and cruising. If I can have something that will notify her that all is well, even when out of phone or internet range, then that would be great.

    Dogs on board

We're cruising with our Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Ringo, and so far he loves it. He's got his own PFD and likes to wear it because he loves any kind of clothes. We've only been at this a little over a week, but so far, no problems with him. Or the two cats, either.

Ericson 38 For Sale - Meticulous Owners

Thanks again. We're still running into issues with trying to get her into the water. Mostly it's waiting on other people to get around to doing things(insurance quotes or even getting return calls from insurance agents, riggers not getting around to getting certain parts they need so needing to...

Ericson 38 For Sale - Meticulous Owners

Thank you, kindly. I'm looking forward to getting her in the water, once we get the last few things taken care of. I see you're in Orlando. We used to live in Eastwood. Disliked the Homeowners Association there, but loved the area.

    Making/Installing Swim Platform on a '32?

I'm going to have to look into doing something like that on Stardust once we have everything else we need to take care of out of the way.
