When I bought my 34-2 the rudder was painted with white bottom paint. The yard said that Ericson rudders are prone to warping and delaminating which the white paint prevents compared to black paint. I paint it white every year. Has anyone else heard this?

Paul, There has not been any issues with our headliners. We too found the aft cabin a bit small for us but it works well for guests, storage and is a perfect size for a nap. We sleep in the fore berth having a small plastic step to make it easier to get in and out. Over all the boat sails...

Dropped diesel cap overboard last season. After a long search I finally had the yard replace the the deck fill for $162.00. Ouch. But it is now the newest , brightest piece on the boat.

Topic is so pertinent. This year my forward tank would not fill or pump unless I removed the vent pipe from the tank. Vent tube is clogged. I have not yet done this but plan to blow compressed air from the downhill side back to the tank to hopefully unclog the vent. Can it be this simple? I...
