Question for Portland/ Vancouver area owners- Do you have a lead on diver bottom cleaners?

It may have, but the hull was dark blue originally and someone from the Yacht Club owned it originally. Thanks for the info- I will try him!

Question for Portland/ Vancouver area owners- Do you have a lead on diver bottom cleaners?

Yeah, I was going to haul out the 26th, but my brother got a hernia and I am in ASA 101 and then 103 classes for all the days until Monday so no time. Hoping a diver can clean me up and give me a report.

Question for Portland/ Vancouver area owners- Do you have a lead on diver bottom cleaners?

Hi All PNW members! Checking back in after moving my boat from Calameth to Portland and I want to get a diver to clean and inspect the bottom for me. I'm at Hayden Bay Marina. I'll add some pics of the boat too if you are interested. I am a heretic with a 1975 C&C 33 Mk1, but she's kind of a...

Best bottom paint for Columbia River

Hi NW Sailors! I would appreciate advice for bottom paint I can throw two quick coats on for another year or twos protection. Ideally just want to do a quick sand and paint since I will only have two full days and other tasks to do as well- any recommendations?

All of them I have spoken with have some restrictions. Fred's, for example, will only allow two nights! Hayden Bay says 3, but also says they will look the other way if there is no abuse. Sadly, I may need to anchor out even having a slip.

I think that was who just told me they don't allow that...Hayden Bay is ok with 3 days couple of times so I will stretch that a bit...

Thank you for the suggestion! I need to stay on my boat a few nights each month and they do not allow any sleepovers, so not going to work sadly....

    Best Moorage near Portland

I will check them out- right now I will be going to Hayden Bay since no one else has space. I will be on a month to month so maybe I can stay on Fred's list for an inside spot when one opens up. My other problem is I want to be able to stay on the boat when I come to Portland to visit my...

    Best Moorage near Portland

Thanks for the info, I called and spoke to Creon and right now they do not have space for me. A 60' fishing boat may be departing from the side docks which would leave me more exposed to the traffic, but I am thinking big fenders and good spring lines should keep me ok? What do you think about...

Thanks, the Hayden Bay leasing agent was upfront about there being shoal areas you need to know and volunteered to show me (i'm sure from the dock). Also hoping to find others and either have them on my boat, sail with them on their boat or follow them out and get shown the area.
