Friend of ours is visiting for the weekend, and she brought a veritable time capsule with her. An issue of "Yachtsman" magazine from January, 1968. Her recently deceased dad was - among other things - a sailor, and he kept a big collection of items from his sailing days, some of which she brought down, knowing my wife and I would appreciate them. This magazine was a joy to peruse. A 37' Bruce King sailboat for only $25k. SS turnbuckles for $5. A manual bilge pump for $29. And - @Christian Williams - a photo of your old friend Ted Turner leading a 5.5 World Championship in Nassau. Has been a very enjoyable Saturday morning thumbing through this.
