New Ericson owner

Hey y'all, I'm a new owner of a 1989 Ericson 34-2. I brought her to my home port in New Orleans, LA from Kemah, TX last month and have been slowly working on some repairs and upgrades. Excited to be here and connect with fellow Ericson sailors!

I have an 87 E34, great boat.

I'm not sure how many E34 people there are here; I think maybe there were a lot more E35's and E32's built. Feel free to reach out directly if you have some question especially specific to the E34-2, though I have an E350, basically an E34-2 built later by Pacific Seacraft... so same rig, hull, and (mostly) interior layout, but a number of equipment differences (spar, steering.) I've been very happy with the boat and the way it sails.

PS: This group/website is unusually decent, friendly, and polite.. which is a real pleasure. I had to spend time on some other boards to realize that wasn't the norm.
