We had a blue sweatshirt printed with our boat image on it. I wanted the hull to appear white with blue stripes and the bottom to be dark like ours. To accomplish this I reversed some of the graphics of the artwork I've published here earlier. We used Underground Printing and they have the option of printing in any color ink so I picked white. There are two versions of the art here, one with a white rudder as we have and another with the rudder the same as the rest of the bottom paint.
On the artwork I uploaded here I put '35' instead of our sail number. I also modified it a bit from the file used for the sweatshirt shown below so some of the hardware details and deck lines show up better.
Overall, I was pleased with the way this turned out. For one-offs and low run they do a digital print. I was worried the ink would be too thin, but it's decent. For this company, if you order more than six they will do a screen print and that would be my preference in the future for greater ink density. You can mix different sizes and I think even styles as long as you're using the same screen.
Cheers,
Jeff
