amps

I just looked through the Perkins manual to see what the specs are on the standard alternator that comes with the engine. I was amazed to see that it is only 11 Amps ! I don't know what the power curve looks like but I'd guess that means closer to 7-8 Amps when cruising along at 2000 engine...

Has anyone ever considered adding a battery bank under the floor on an E-29? There is just enough room in the keel tunnel at the back access panel for two regular sized batteries to be slid in. It would take a little fabrication for tie downs. I know the possibility of the batteries being...
