I recently decided to mount my ipod (mpeg player) in the cockpit. I have run a 3.5mm jack line about 20' from the player to the stereo aux. port, which is inside the cabin. Works great......EXCEPT when the engine is running! At which time the sound "cuts out" temporarily for a second or two...
