I currently have my hot water heater patched into the fresh water side of my engine and am planning to put in a Espar Hydronic D5. At this time, I'm considering plumping it so my radiators will have the ability to heat the boat (and H2O heater) when motoring using engine heat or the diesel...

I'm considering adding a heating system beyond my little force 10 propane to the boat. The local yards say going hydronic is the way to go since it only takes 3/4 copper opposed to 3 inch. Has anyone gone this route? I would put the unit in the back locker and plump it into my hot water...
