Hi all,
This isn't my boat but I think I'm going to take a look at it on Sunday. Sounds like it has a strong diesel and the current owner said the previous owner replaced all the wiring except the mast and also replaced the through hulls. The owner also said he hauled it out a few years ago and it has zero blisters. Sounds like the hulls on these are very solid like a lot of fiberglass boats from that era.
He didn't know the age of the standing rigging, so I'm guessing that means quite old. Same with the chainplates. I think I read the chainplates on these are glassed into the hull or something along those lines which makes inspection difficult. Sounds like they need to be replaced as well along with the rig.
I just thought I'd pass this along and see if anyone had any input or interest. I guess there were only about 200 of these made and I haven't found a ton on info on them. Very classic and nice looking boat though. Reminds me of my old Cheoy Lee Luders 30, narrow beam, classic look, just a bit lighter.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts you might want to share.
