I am in the process of replacing all the fuel hoses and cleaning the tank and adding inspection plates. I have an opportunity to move the fuel fill to a more convenient location where the decommissioned pumpout fitting currently lives. The location of this fitting would make it easier to handle the fuel pump hose and catch drips before they can make it overboard. There is a lot of wire and hose in the lazarette compartment but I think I can work around it and I bought a tight radius fill hose. Seems like it should work to me, but making changes like this sometimes leads to unintended consequences. What am I missing?
Red (left) is current diesel fill location, green is decommissioned pumpout fitting. I will convert the unused fitting to a washdown pump hose connection.

New fill hose would mostly follow the wiring bundle currently hanging down and then down behind the lift muffler. The issue is the tight bend at the bottom and not leaving a sag where fuel would collect. I can move the fuse block and heater panel a little to make a space for the fill hose.
