Access to underside of deck around bulkheads

Hi everyone,

How difficult is it to get to the underside of the deck past the headliner, particularly around the bulkheads, both for inspection and for deck work?

Thanks!

Potentially, an Ericson 35-3. I'm thinking particularly around the dorade vents. Might not be too different from the Ericson 32-3?

Thanks!

The zippers on my 35-3 don't provide access to the area below the dorade box. I had to pull the trim and staples holding the headliner up in the head. It's not a difficult task, but it is kind of unnerving. There's also a bulkhead separating the head from the vbirth you will have to work around. There's a few blogs and posts showing how this is done and what it looks like under there.

Thanks! Are there particular blogs/threads that you recommend? I've seen a few threads/blog posts, but they seem to show more of how to attack the problem from above deck.

Brian Ross posted some good pics of the area during his recore project on my original purchase thread:
