An old Santa Catalina Island song

Bepi

E27 Roxanne
I have been doing a deep dive into Catalina history and the Flora and Fauna. While watching an old film I came across this song which is sung to the tune of "Home on the Range", and according to the film, was sung to people when arriving to the island in the old days when mass media meant... the radio.

Oh give me a week,
where the blue waters speak, on the shores of this magical isle. Where we all come to play
through each sun shiny day,
and there's laughter and fun all the while.
Home, home, on the isle.
Where the greeting to all is a smile. Where we all come to play
through each sunshiny day and there's laughter and fun all the while.
