Any reason not to screw into these TAFG to tie rod members?

Hey before I drill a few holes and screw into these chain plate to tie rod members I thought I’d throw out a post to see if there’s any reason I shouldn’t. Not talking about many holes or too big, just want to screw some boards for mounting electrical components.

Looks like the PO or someone screwed a similar mounting board for their inverter so Im
guessing it’s OK, just wanted to double
check with the forum.

No problem, Ericson screwed everything into the TAFG on my model.

You can also use construction adhesive, if it's just mounting boards. Sometimes that's easier if the location is awkward for tools.
