Have one? Got details on this alarm?

I am currently re-wiring/Upgrading cockpit panel and area devices. This installed alarm is not part of OEM wiring harness, and I suspect some PO installed it.

I believe it works...something was making noise when key was switch to IGN.

Alarms existing wiring:
Power to OEM key switch.
Sensor 18AWG wire to engine compartment and split:
a. to one of two oil pressure switches (red wire).
b. temp switch(?) red wire.

If I new more about the device I might be able to test or just double check for appropriate wiring.
I just don't know. (Lens and Title) searches on web didn't provide any immediate results.

Anyone?

The light should come on as soon as the engine panel is powered, because there is no oil pressure. To test the oil pressure switch, take the wire off the top of the switch and touch it to the block. This simulates the "closed" (on) position of the switch, i.e., while there is no oil pressure, and should activate the light.

To test the temp sender, you'd have to unscrew it from the fitting and drop the sensor end in boiling water. It's probably set to go off above 200°F or so. Or, you could try heating the whole bronze fitting with a heat gun and or torch.
