Does antifreeze go bad?

I want to top-up the antifreeze in my motor, and have a half-full jug of the right stuff in my garage.

Before I use it, thought I'd ask.

I vaguely remember transmission fluid comes with a recommendation to only use from a sealed container, as the fluid degrades (oxidizes?) when the fluid is exposed to air. But don't remember if there is any similar recommendation about antifreeze.

Full strength antifreeze will last pretty much forever. If a 50/50 mix type there may be a shortened shelf life but still a long long time.
