Greg: We own an E35-2 (1979).In 1983 they came out this the E35-3 model.Both models sail like a dream and as far as weather helm, I carry a 130% genoa which should give me more weather helm and it does not. The boat will balance in almost any type sailing condition. Good luck, its a great boat and you'll have a great time. // Stan
