I am currently looking at a 1981 Ericson 28 and would be interested in any info on the boats handling and potential problem areas...I have only been sailing for just over 2 years and need a bigger boat (my 20 just doesnt handle my 3 boys and I very well for a weekend) I liked the layout of the one I am looking at and think for my sailing ability it might be the correct choice. I sail in the Gulf of Mexico in the Panama City area. Also this will be used as a liveabord for 1 adult...Any input would be greatly appreciated.
