Ericson 34-2 Wine Rack Location?

Hey everyone — the previous owner of my Ericson 34-2 just found and returned this original teak wine rack/storage rack that apparently came with the boat.

Does anyone happen to know exactly where this piece was originally mounted from the factory? If possible, photos of the original location would be hugely appreciated.

Trying to keep the boat as original as practical while restoring and recommissioning her. Thanks!

The only thing that looked like that on my boat was in the chart table under the lid in the back section, for chart storage.

That looks more like the cupholder tray that lays horizontally inside one of my galley cabinets (sorry, no picture). The wine rack was often tucked away in the corner. It had U-shaped cutouts in front that held the bottle necks and round cutouts behind that, which held the bottle in a slightly in inverted position.

Ditto on my 34-2. We fine it pretty much useless as a lot of liquor bottles done fit.

By its shape and notch, Alexis' piece must fit somewhere in the saloon. Ericson didn't put the wine rack anyplace else.

Regarding function, it is imperative to enlarge the holes of the obsolete booze-bottle pattern. Imperative!

Quite a complete ad write up with many interior features highlighted. The cockpit and deck layout were well explained as well. The picture of the TAFG is really informative.

The right-hand page shows the location (drawing, not photo) of a "liquor locker"... not sure how much that might help.
