We needed better access to the foredeck from the finger pier of our slip, so I added a couple of pelican hooks on the starboard side. A local machine shop tapped out the base of the pelican hook to accept the back half of the original turnbuckle.

I added locking ring over each of the safety lines just forward of the first stanchion so the rest of the safety lines won't slack when the pelicans are released. I still need to add a brace to that stanchion to give it more support when the pelicans are released.

You also may notice the color difference between the anchor lid and the foredeck. I think that is because it was replaced. The current lid has some water intrusion around the edges which is starting to destroy the core again. I will be fixing that very soon myself.
