Before I send my Garmin GPSmap 540 to eBay I thought I might like to give anyone here on EYO a chance to buy a working chart plotter at a very reasonable price. I've upgrade to Raymarine but my Garmin GPSmap 540 was still working when I took it off the binnacle. I'm asking $125 for it. It comes with the bracket (not the Edson arm seen in the video) and owner's manual but the power/data cord was damaged and unfixable. You can probably find one on eBay for a reasonable price. I also took the magnet that holds the chip door closed because it was interfering with the compass! It's preloaded with charts for the USA but they may need to be updated. So does it really work?
