Genoa car low friction rings

Anyone else try low friction rings to replace their Genoa car sheaves? I've been planning on doing this for a while, but wasn't sure how it was going to work. Planning on trying this tomorrow. I'd love to hear other people's experiences with a similar application.

So far so good

We got out for a few hours in light and variable winds to try out the new main sail anf genoa cars. Not much of a test for the low friction rings, but they seemed to perform well. There was a noticeable reduction in friction. I kept the old cars on the track (I have two sets) with the sheets threaded through in case the dyneema lashing gives way. I'll probably keep it that way for a few sails until I'm comfortable with the new set up.
