Thank you so much! they are sending me color charts from interlock Toplac that they recommended for the blue waterline. I was just thinking maybe someone would know best product and what color matches the best but I guess I will have to use the samples to figure it out. Thanks for replying. If no one knows, and given that it's probably faded alot, you might try picking up a bunch of blue color samples from a paint store and choose the closest match, or the color you prefer. They can also advise on what paint might last on the water line, given the heavy wear there.

How did that work? Was it tough to bend the vinyl around the waterline? Did you need to cut it because different sizes could be in the mix? Thanks for the info. I was actually thinking of painting it on but this might be another avenue.I just re-did the cove stripe on our 1990 Ericson/Olson911. It is a very dark blue. I used this company https://www.vinylstriping.com/ and requested samples of their blues to try to color match. Closest they had was in the Avery Supercast line in the "dark blue 1019"
Several years ago I went to Home Depot and grabbed a bunch of Behr paint color cards and thought "570F-7 Midnight Dream" was probably the closest. I used that comparison to get a friend with a vinyl cutter to do new name and hailing port graphics to make us new to match.
Hopefully that is helpful.
I did the cove stripe which is the one higher up closer to the deck so a lot less of a challenge to install than the boot stripe at the waterline. I'm sure it's possible to do the boot stripe with vinyl but I agree it would be more challenging to do. Our boot stripe is gelcoat and it does oxidize after a couple years, but a decent round with a polisher it is good until the next time. How did that work?
