Info on 1969 E30-1

Am considering a 1969 E30-1 for purchase. Looking for any owner feedback, good, bad or otherwise, on this model. Especially concerned that this boat had two inches cut off the mast due to corrosion at the step, restepped on a wood base to make up the height. Also curious about method of FRP construction and coring.
