We are pretty excited by this purchase. The boat is well equipped, and will need a few modifications/corrections/upgrades. On the list are: Adding a functional radar system, rewiring the universal M25 to get rid of the trailer connections, fixing the broken shower system with upgraded non PB fittings. Any input from current owners is always much appreciated.

Marlin Prowell

E34 - Bellingham, WA
It is in Bellingham for a while, then we will have to move it to Blaine
Ah, yes, the Bellingham to Blaine to Bellingham shuffle. Did that myself. Our E34 is now in Bellingham at Gate 9, slip NW18.

Blaine is a nice marina and easy access to the northern San Juan islands. No chandlery however, so make sure you take everything you need when working on projects.

I believe I saw your boat today. Our boat is also on gate 9 all the way at the end. Name of the boat is Bacchus. I was checking lines and such as we are supposed to be getting some very high winds tomorrow.

Yes indeed, that is the one. I notice you are at Mariner square marina. Many years ago, we had an Ericson 29 at that location, then solid it and went to a Catalina 320. From what I can the Ericson 35-3 is a heck of a lot of boat.
Oh wow, what a small world! Did Savio and Christina own MSQ back then? They're fabtastic! Pasta Peilican, though? Not so much... ;)
I definitely lust after the E35-3, and between that and a 38 I've got my eye on longer-distance sailing up and down the coast once I retire in a few years.

We sold our Catalina 42 we lived aboard and went through COVID on to upgrade to a 52-foot Sea Ranger Trawler (whoa, 1,000SQFT living space) to live aboard. But prior to the sale of the C42 I had my eye on a number of boats, and specifically Ericsons, since I've owned/sailed a few. We looked at an E29 in Vallejo that was...rubbish. Passed on it. But I'd be following a lovely E30+ for about the last 12 months as well (on CraigsList), and finally tracked the owners down to MVYH where our Catalina was. Stomped the boat, checked mechanicals and electricals, raised sails, and then made them an offer.

And now Andiamo! is parked right behind us in the smaller inner marina dock behind our big boat Zissou.IMG_2562.jpegIMG_0095.jpegIMG_0128.jpeg
