I have been land locked for some time. Freash water is easy on the boat, but it doe limit your sailing both in miles sailed and the amount of good weather you have sail. I started sailing keel boats with a 1974 27' Ericson, then bought a new 34' Ericson which I sailed for 11 years, Now I have a new 380 Ericson, Being land locked is not that bad, but I look forward to the day when I can move my 380 to Tierra Vrede, FL
