Micron size versus NAPA/Wix -Universal

Help ... I've always thought the "on-engine" spin on diesel fuel filter Universal #298854 was a 2 micron unit. However when crossing over to NAPA #3390 or Wix #33390, both indicate 10 microns. Does any one know what the actual micron size is for the Universal #298854? Or what micron size should be for the spin on on-engine filter? Or can you even purchase such a filter?

Looks like the #298854 pretty much covers most of the Universal diesel line up.
