Our back up tracker is showing : At 18:34Z his position was 25 19 S & 171 00 W, course 115 at 9 knots. We think the problem is possibly because of the huge waves that are obscuring the signal.

He was clocking 28 kts at one point during the blow ! That is according to those who were watching his satellite tracker. He had only claimed 24 kts !

An amazing kid on an amazing boat. Only one knockdown so far but lots and lots of autopilot and rudder problems.
