Nine percent of fish have plastic in their stomachs? Would that be the lure used to catch them? I was a commercial fisherman and I've cleaned and gutted tens of thousands of fish--if not hundreds of thousands. I found a halibut with a plastic-wrapped cornish game hen in it's stomach once, but that's it--and that was in 1978 near a harbor. Since then, the only plastics I've found are the ones I used to catch them.
