I’ve also trolled quite a lot on eBay and Craigslist, buying other people’s second-hand dreams, in my long weird quest to convert Arcturus into a little cruising boat. People buy this sort of gear, then never use it and eventually let it go for pennies on the dollar, just to get it out of their garage. Lots of old but new-in-box, or carried-around-for-years-but-never-used items can be found with a bit of patience.
