Mystery Board

I took ownership on and E35-2 just over a year ago and I have been unable to determine what this is for. The pictures are of the top and bottom sides of the board with one side having green Velcro and beveled edges that are about the width of the red/green materials. The pictures are taken at an oblique angle looking down into the cockpit. Many thanks!

Somewhere on board is the other side of that Velcro. Ah, but where?

That looks like a seat for an older Achilles dinghy. You’ll find the matching Velcro on a dinghy.
