New E27....tips and trailer rental?

Hi all,

I've just inherited my dad's 1973 E27. I
t's down in Sausalito and I'm looking to rent a trailer to bring her up (also looking for a slip in/around Lake Washington). It's going to need some refurb (I need to do a stem to stern evaluation and then build the "to do list"....also it look slike I'll need to become an expert on an atomic 4 engine )so any pointers to good local ericson experts is appreciated.

I think you'll find the effort in bringing your boat back to prime well worth it.

For the A4, the first step is to enlightenment is to get a copy of the Moyer manual, and start reviewing the Moyer on-line forum.

I have a triple axle trailer that would handle your boat, but I'm not at all sure of your timeline. It's been to Cali and back several times, with boats from 27-31'. It's got electric brakes, etc. The only real 'issue' is that it's currently rented to a guy who's doing a major overhaul on his J boat. He was going to get it back to me by the end of the month, but he's behind. I told him he could have April. So....if you're not in a huge HURRY, get in touch with me and we can discuss it. Not looking to get rich, but need enough 'rent' to pay for tires once in awhile; a triple axle trailer kind of 'eats' em. The trailer is very heavy duty, 15,000 gross axles, but weighs close to 3.000# by itself! 3 pads on each side, plus the bow stanchion/pad.... I put my Yankee 30 on it and it works great. Some major work done on it in the last 2-3 years, including new axles, wheels, brakes, wiring, etc. 2 5/16 ball..... This is obviously not a 'ramp type' trailer....
