OMC saildrive

Hello all,
Can anyone tell me where to look for the thermostat on these? The owners manual doesn't show it. I am ordering a service guide from Ken Cook.
Also can the power unit be pulled from the lower unit with the boat in the water?

Also has anyone installed Lewmar sliding bolt track for their traveler? Upgrading and can't seem to find which bolt size will fit the slot but not turn so I can tighten it. Size 1.

EDIT: Dave, I uploaded a .zip file that contains a bunch of threads from the Saildrive Group -> they are small .txt files that contain discussions on various troubleshooting and repair issues pertaining to the OMC. I collected this stuff about two years ago; so there is a lot of newer info available on Yahoo.
