Does anyone have any thoughts on this move, with regards to which is best? I researched the following
Dana Point
Oceanside
San Diego
San Diego is within an hour and 15 min of my home and is nice, but I was not able to find any boatyards that allow owners to work on their boats while on the hard. The waiting list may be long.
Oceanside is about an hour away, but seemed a little sketchy to me when I went there, but some people say they are beginning a renovation. Big issue there is the same as with San Diego, waiting list and no place to work on the boat.
Dana Point is also about 1hr, 15min away and had three slips immediately available, and they also have a boatyard in the area that has reasonable rates for owners who want to work on their boat.
Any thoughts?
