I was looking thru boats for sale on Yachtworld. I saw this boat and was amazed at the work that was done. I've never seen anything quite like this before. I wonder what effect this would have on sailing the boat.

What-da?

At first I didn't think the transom was Ericson(34t from the photo section) A pilothouse addition would have "looked" better on a more conservative hull, JMHO

She's still "on-her-lines" so aside from windage and access to systems I guess it's "owners choice"! Resale value is GONE!

The thing that would bug me is the diminished visability from the helm.

Were there more pics? It would be interesting to see the interior layout.

You guys have no class. That labyrinth of aqua permascaffolding is a nice touch. So's the white paint over the woodwork (and even over the chainplates). Really brightens up the cabin. I guess they were out of plaid paint that day.

Must have been a sale at the hardware store on white paint and plywood...:esad:Bruce King must be in total shock at what has been done to this once sleek ericson.:nonono:

Collision @ Sea!

Classic sailing yacht collides w/ commercial fishing boat! One boat is "still" missing.

On a serious note, I'll bet she had a bad galley fire and someone salvaged her. It's located in Mexico.

Wow, thats is truly UGLY! I don't understand what was gained from the modification. Pilothouses aren't much use unless you can drive from inside, right? Its a shame really. RT
