It was an amazing engineering feat! We live in Nanaimo, BC, about 160 km/100 miles south of there. My wife and I are planning a sailing cruise to the Discovery islands, just a bit north of there, leaving in the latter part of May through to near the end of June, before it gets too busy in our cruising waters. It should be a lovely trip!
