Those of you in LA probably already know about this -- the folks are from LA, and it's in the LAT. Impressive -- I am still prepping my boat for a longer trip, and it came pre-built... the Singlehanded Sailing Society folks up here say it's typically 5 years between purchase and their longer races (200 nm offshore and the Hawaii one), and these guys did it in 4 including building the boats.
