Swiftsure Bank Race May 26

My wife and I are coming up to join the Catalina 38 "Peregrine" for the Swiftsure race on May 26. We're going up for the delivery to Victoria on the 23rd. Any other Northwest Vikings participating in the race? If so let us know. We'd love to come over and visit while we're up there.

Not participating but hoping to get out for the start. 35-2 with a black bootstripe. We'll keep an eye out for Peregrine. Good luck.

There were 72 boats in our start, with a 350 meter line, less than 5 knots of wind and a 1 knot current pushing us toward the line. If you were out there, we were wayyy too busy making sure we didn't crash into someone. What a great race though. The people of Victoria are so supportive of this race. It was awesome.

Glad you enjoyed yourselves.
We motored out to watch the start but I was distracted by a long phone call I couldn't put off. At least the tide was ebbing, those drifty starts usually seem to be on a flood.
