Does anyone have any direct experience with clearing in to Mexico with cats onboard? Cats that will not come off the boat on purpose, but one of them ignores the written warnings to stay on the boat.
All the online info sites are pretty consistent with needing all the shots, certificates and such. Our cats will have all that. I've read some time frames of 10 days from the date on the certificates and such which doesn't really seem reasonable for a sailboat trip. I've also read that the port captains don't ask for the pet paperwork very often.
Any anecdotes would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Chris
