One-legged gulls, pelicans with six-pack plastic on their necks. floating trashbags in the harbor. I needed to do something to clean up our front yard. Joined the Surfrider Foundation, which is non-profit. They have 60 chapters nationwide, concerned with beach management, water quality, etc. (www.surfrider.org) Please check them out.
