When You Lose Your Cabin Lights on the Port Side of an E-32 II

Port Cabin Lighting Fix.jpg

Many of you may have already done this, but for those who haven't or may face this problem in the future...

The factory wiring on the E-32 II ran across under the mast to feed the port side of the boat for cabin lighting. There was also a problem with main brace cracks under the incorrectly supported mast which severed the wiring that fed the Port side cabin lights.

What we did was to feed/route a set of wires from the main control panel "Cabin Lights" switch to the Port side Instrument box on the companionway bulkhead and then feed it to that port side cabin light which also fed the whole port side of the boat. Easy solution that has worked perfectly ever since.
