Thanks so much for your continued support of EricsonYachts.org!
Nice shot, good to see you out racing. There is no question that we need to organize some type of gathering in the North East for Ericson owners. Now if we can only get past this pandemic so that we can properly socialize. Time will tell. I have a few good ideas as well as a fun treasure hunt idea in RI area come March to get the blood flowing for the next season. More to come on that based on the state of the pandemic. Last sail of the season this weekend sad to say.

Hey - thanks for saying hi. Sorry to have missed the Hadley trip. We hauled Sel de Mer last weekend, alas. Counting the days til we launch in April. We'll be back in same spot next summahI have seen your very nice Ericson next to my friend’s Eastbay, “Otter”. They went to the dark side but not too dark. We moved our boat up to Marion last weekend, getting ready to haul her out for the season. But before that happens , this weekend’s destination is Hadley for an overnight just in case you are around.
hi Brett, I am new to this group. Where in Brooklyn do you keep your e27? I just purchased an E26 Yanmar1GM10 and will be bringing it to Brooklyn in the Spring. Planning on keeping it at a mooring in Sheepshead Bay. Would like to exchange info and tips and tricks since this is my first boat in Bklyn, first diesel and first Ericson.Am I the only one active on here in the north east?
About 29 or 30 years there was a north east "Ericson Regatta" held at Shelter Island NY (between the forks of long island).
Perhaps those of us in the North East should consider doing something similar. Probably Shelter Island, New London, or someplace in Rhode Island would be good spots as they allow not too long of a travel time for folks from either side of those points.

My E26-2 "ANEMOS" is at NBC. I see "RAVEN" pretty close to my mooring - Is that yours or the other E34 ?We’re based in Nyack, NY; and there’s one more E34 here as well.
Well said, Sean.Don't mean to deviate on the subject - but would like to add this:
I am on Facebook - but concur with this. Everything I've loaded onto my page there can be disposed of. This site - or rather, the archive of information from this site - is not going anywhere - and is not going to be sold/rented/borrowed/leveraged/given or loaned to anyone else - for any reason (save an order from a judge).
When you post to Facebook they own it. When you post to EY.o, I own it. Facebook openly admits that they are a profit-driven organization; while EY.o is more or less a small, private clubhouse filled with (mostly) older guys who are tired of BS.
Facebook has already admitted to selling out their members information for profit. EY.o has a twenty year history of dealing with PSC, hackers, jihadists, spammers and the Russians (yes, they get their own class) to defend our space. That should be evidence enough of my intentions.

I'm docked at Spicers marina, tucked under Noank. I got my E32-3 about 3 months ago and have ventiured into Fishers Island Sound half a dozen times or so. Everyone says there are lots of rocks, but I haven't hit a reef yet!I'm reading sailing around Fisher Island waters can be rocky.
I've been to Block Island on July 4th weekend in the past. Never againWe did Coecles Harbor on July 4th weekend, beautiful there. Didn’t get to Block Island this year but also heard reports of it being crazy busy in new harbor great salt pond.
