    For sale This boat was for sale last year by the same guy. He had dropped it down to $500 from $1000+and I was thinking about looking at it when some guy from Ohio won the bid. I'm guessing that he backed out when he saw the condition she was in.

    Sold the boat

    Yep, we sold Peregryn awhile back. I've told the new owner about this site and hope he'll sign up. Sandy and I will be out of sailing for while due to new duties involving parent care. There will be a time that we'll get back into sailing with a "retirement boat" Fair winds and full sails...

    Rub rail painting - results?

    Rub rail My rub rails were getting chauky and cracked so I cleaned them up and sanded them down. Then I painted them with about three coats of Pettit [sic] one part urethane IIRC. So far this has held up for about three years so far. There are still little grooves where the cracks were but...

    ericson 25 questions

    E 25 FWIW it takes two guys to get my hinged mast up ( Suribatchi style). I have Doug (a shorter mesomorphic type) nearest the mast and me ( 6'4" and shrinking) behind him. A third pearson, if you have one but not needed,, to attach the back stay. Fair winds, Chad
