Grew up on Long Island, sailing on LI Sound. Enjoyed the Chesapeake Bay as my playground for ~30 years, now back north in Mystic CT and loving it.
Owned and raced an Olson 30 for 10 years, travelling the east coast for One Design races. Extremely happy with my Ericson/Olson 34- no more white knuckles.
1989 Olson/Ericson 34, Hull # 18, "LOKI" now in Mystic sailing out of Shennecossett Yacht Club. Majority of sailing is cruising, racing~2/3 races per year. My wife and I enjoy seeing New England by water.
Recently retired (1/1/21) as Plant Manager of a large Nuclear Power Plant in CT.
