Just a quick bit for you, remove the screen or tip of the faucet first. It will allow the water to come out twice as fast and won't get clogged with debris. I had done this many times in the past but forgot to remove them this most recent time around. Now my new faucet is clogged and slow. :(

Have you tried removing the v-belt? May be a bad alternator or water pump bearing causing the slow crank/no crank by hand.

I have one in my 38-200. I love it. Works great. Draws about 5 amps. I leave it on all season. Even when I'm not on the boat. Who wants to get to the boat for warm beer? It works best when left on all the time. This way it cycles less because the food and drinks are really cold.
