    35-3 windlass install

And if anybody is wondering about any water leakage they have in the forward part of the v-bunk. Under the original anchor pan is a good place to look.

    35-3 windlass install

So the inside bottom of anchor locker looks like this. Nice and homey for the crappy muddy anchor. AND the Captain his his own little liquor locker.

These Dasco "Mini-Pry Bars" from Home Depot are also very helpful...

Viewing a 35-3 soon, any suggestions?

I see that kind of mini-smile on a lot of boats. At least the previous owner doesn't seem devious as it is there for all to see. A surveyor should be able to tell if it is a symptom of a more serious problem. It looks like more than a couple of inches? Has it been filled further back and you...

    35-3 windlass install

Helps to open up the old shallow anchor locker in those areas that will not be re-used when you want to remove it. And I think you need to remove it to get the depth you need to for windlass drop. Don't mess with the part above your v-berth as you will want to keep that part of the old shallow...

Fresh New Marine G10 /F4 Chunk for knees, backing plates etc. Replace rusting metal parts with this. Will not rot or soak up water. Super strong.

Good post "Tenders"! Come to think of it, I did put a two carefully shaped chunks between my mast step and keel. Epoxied it in with some thinner sheets from Defender, another good source of Sheet G-10. It will be there when Dinosaurs once again roam the Earth. To paraphrase, "There's nothing...

Rudder is on it's way to Donnie in Louisville. Whew! Putting it in the dumpster would've haunted me.

Fresh New Marine G10 /F4 Chunk for knees, backing plates etc. Replace rusting metal parts with this. Will not rot or soak up water. Super strong.

Strong as metal but will not corrode. Cuts with sharp carbide tools. Use it for strength in areas that can get wet. Don't use it where you need some flexion as it will not flex. I used it to help make hydraulic ram shelf. People use it to make strong, unbreakable knife handles that stand up to...

Donnie. Might be able to get the Freight at $250 and boxing at $75 through FEDEX Freight. We have terms. Do you have any buddies with a commericial address to ship it to. That would help. Greyhound was a PITA.

Hey Donnie, that's the rudder I have in the warehouse. An exact twin. I just measured, they all match. Loren was right!
